Chosei Village
Chosei Village was born in 1953, amalgamated by 3 villages, Yatsumi, Ichimatsu, and Takane. A part of Ichimatsu district, Miyahara was ceded to its neighboring city, Ichinomiya-cho becoming the present village it is today.
The clement oceanic climate of Kujukuri offers this area with local brand of produce such as the “Nagaiki”, or long life tomatoes and the Chosei melon,.
It is a village with many spiritual and monumental events, rich with culture and history.
